Hanumanasana - Front Splits
Hanuma-huh? Hanumasana! Hanuman, the monkey king - he took a HUGE leap into the front splits across the ocean in an effort to catch the sun! Interestingly enough, he never thought he would make it, but alas, he prevailed. We take a lesson of patience from Hanuman as we work towards our front splits.
While the journey is always the focus when it comes to yoga (and life!), we also take steps to work towards the destination, finding front splits. You will learn and practice deep hip openers, the best hamstring stretches, longer holds, beneficial flows, and tips and tricks to help you get to your goal. Even if you’re far from the splits, this workshop will help you work on tight hammys and hips.
